My name is Isla Olive Beth Reese, but I go by Rheece Rhose. Dorcas/Tabitha, my biblical middle name, means "gazelle" or "doe," symbolising grace and elegance. Reese means "someone to behold", in Hausa, and in English, it reflects devotion, enthusiasm, and warmth. Rhose is a signature, giving the name a unique feel.

In my culture, middle names are often used as first names. My grandparents, John Bako Gaiya and Mary Rheece Gaiya (Bako), were both known by their own. Gaiya means cheerful in Hausa and Earth in English, while Bako shows respect and signifies "male firstborn" or "guest" using it as a surname.
